“ Different kind of chicken porridge. Comforting & delicious. My top choices for breakfast when i’m in college besides bubur ayam sukarmanah and soto naila ”
“ One good breakfast in Jatinangor. It costs about 10k without any topping (just porridge with chicken). With toppings it would cost a bit more. For toppings, they have eggs, ati ampela (don't know the english term for that), and satay-eggs. In 7am they used to be out of order for toppings, you better go early in the morning for breakfast. ”
“ Bubur ayam parantina, bubur ayam amanda, bubur ayam fay, and maybe many more. Great porridge place. Serve many kinds of toppings: chicken intestine, quail egg, embryonic chicken egg, etc. Best with the spice (the dried chilly), but dont put too much or youll regret it! ”
“ The chicken porridge served here is based on Chinese style, not to thick and so tasty even without any additional sauce (ketchup). The price is affordable, regular size of the chicken porridge will cost you IDR 10k. I usually order chicken porridge with egg and it's only 13k. ”
“ The porridge itself is already tasty. As a spicy lover, I could eat this without the chilli. But, the chilli is different because it is dry chilli and it taste spicier than the other chilli (sambal). You could ask the chicken skin, and other things than the chicken meat as the toppings. For your information, they don't give you orange crackers like other porridge, but they usually prepare emping (gotta spend more money for this). But I think this is the most delicious porridge in East Jakarta. Fyi, this porridge comes from Jatinangor near Padjadjaran University. ”
“ It's one good option for breakfast in jatinangor. Chicken rice porridge with their specialty add on : spinach cracker and burning hot dried chilli powder. ”
“ One of best porridge in Bandung, the signature of this dish is the condiment and additional. Provide the customer with fried spinach, emping and also dry chilly. The texture of porride is more liquid compare to other but the taste is champion. The price also reasonable with only 12K will fulfil your breakfast. ”
“ Written on May 14, 2025. A typical Indonesian chicken porridge breakfast cart, only opens in the morning (6:00 to around 10:00 AM). Back then, it was known as "Bubur Fay" for its location, right across from a mom-and-pop shop called Fay. Now, it is more known by its original name "Parantina," because the Fay shop is long gone out of business. Regardless, I'm still calling it "Bubur Fay." They use a storefront as their place of business. They only provide one not-so-long table to be shared by customers. If the table is full, you can sit on the store's stairs or on the table-less chairs. On the table, there are condiments, also to share, of chili flakes (their specialty) and sweet soy sauce bottles. On the table-less chair area, there's an additional topping area where they offer a variety of crackers, and also my favourite emping. For every dine-in order, you'll get a free flow of hot tea. No other beverage options provided. The porridge is Sundanese-style, but, it has a distinct savoury flavor, which I believe comes from the porridge's mix. Because, Sundanese porridge usually does not use chicken stock and relies on the mix of sweet and salty soy sauces as its main source of flavor. They also provide extra toppings of skewered gizzards. I'm not a fan of them, though.... The chili flakes add a significant kick to the taste. However, be careful because it is quite spicy. For me, I always pour sweet soy sauce over the crushed empings to get the perfect taste. They accept cash and online payment methods. Cards are not accepted, here. ”
